Ok, I replaced Spotlight hotkey (cmd + space) to start Launchpad instead.
Reason - use Spotlight for apps only, so figured I disable it (to the possible extent).

Now cmd+space starts Launchpad.
But occasionaly this stops working and I have to use the Launchpad shortcut to start it which is not practical.
Today it happened after I restarted Dock (killall Dock), and wouldnt get back after reboot.
If I would look for the culprit - where should I start?
This is annoying and kinda kills the purpose of this change.

Nevermind i figured out.
Its a bug in Big Sur.
If Spotlight hotkey (cmd+space) is assigned to some other app - it will stop working after "killall Dock" command is issued.
