I am able to get into launchpad by turning it on via a hotcorner, but there is no icon showing up.

Also, when in Launchpad via a hot corner, I can get the icons to wiggle, but no "delete" symbol is showing.

Any ideas?

Launchpad icon

Okay, I reinstalled Lion and it is still not in my dock but I found it in the Apps folder this time (wasn't there first time I installed it).

Now I am still having the same problem with not being able to delete (just getting wiggling icons, no "X" in the corner as it should be).

How to put it back in the dock?

I am having the same issue. On my MacBook the Launchpad icon is on the dock, but on the iMac it is not. I can access it on in the Application folder, but I really would like it in my dock.

Does anyone know how to get it in the dock? Thanks!

Jeff

The only icons you can delete are apps you've downloaded from the App Store.

To put it in your dock, go to your Applications folder, find Launchpad, and drag it down onto your dock.
