I find Launchpad mostly useless but that's another story.

I have Launchpad set up with two pages of apps (second page only has a few apps on it) and I was checking the animation smoothness of swiping between Launchpad pages by repeatedly two-finger swiping back and forth. It's generally smooth but, rather often, the page transition will get "stuck" -- the animation will just freeze dead in its tracks half way between the two Launchpad pages. It's not locked up or frozen because another swipe will send the animation along its way. Oh and this is with near-zero CPU load.

Bug? Video issue? This is on a new MBA 13" I just received yesterday.

Have the same issue. Seems like a bug considering it isn't actually "frozen", just stopped in its tracks, so to speak.

Just a short video clip demonstration shot with iPhone.

i have the same issue with my MBA 13'' MID-2011.
The problem occurs when i set my dock on the left or right but never at the bottom. and the problems disappear for sometime.
But when i upgraded it to Mountain Lion, the problem happened again.
it is really frustrating. In addition, the swipe between dashboard and desktop has the same issue.
