Launchpad sans-linen project

So the linen folders in launchpad looked really ugly, so I took it up on myself to change them. I found the folder image in my mac, and I made these in Photoshop, then went back and replaced the image. I was trying to make the folders more like the latest iOS 7 folders, but I couldn't figure out how. Thoughts? Any ideas on how I can make the folders better?

UPDATE: Here's my revised version with 15% opacity, practically invisible
