Somehow my Launchpad icon come up missing from the dock and I can't figure out how to get it back. New user. Thanks.

2012-2013 iMac 27" i7 680mx fusion drive.

Run this command in Terminal:

rm ~/Library/Application\ Support/Dock/*.db

Then run this command in Terminal:

killall Dock

Wait a few seconds and then start Launchpad.

Thanks for the fast reply, but I figured it out before reading your post. Went into the application folder and dragged Launchpad to the dock. Thanks again.
