check out this crazy video. I guess this machine etches the image into the really scratch able paint, and makes these scenes an whatever else.

kinda crazy someone is making money off that.
I wouldnt get one though

I had an iPod Touch that had my initials engraved (I used the engravement option apple offered)

I ended up selling it for as much as other iPods w/o engravement. It was weird, but most people cover it up with a case anyway.

im sure apple wouldn't approve of you etching stuff into your phone and then looking to get it replaced. Plus it also kills resale value unless you have one hell of a drawing. Like the mona lisa or something everyone thinks is cool.

I don't think aluminum gets drawings in it after use.

But how are these other people going to see it if I'm holding the phone? Or am I supposed to be pretentious enough to make a point to show it off? And why spend money on a mod that I'm not going to look at?

just like when you tattoo your back. you wont see it, people wont usually see it under your clothes but at times it will get noticed.
