LCD adhesive glue sticker

My phone broke (LCD) and I ordered new LCD from ebay...
Now I will get some adhesive glue sticker and I have no idea what to do with it :confused: (is it important, how to put it and what will happen if I don't put it into the iPhone).
I know I have to remove the old adhesive and I guess i have to put the new one on the old one's place but in every video on YT no one put the new adhesive sticker on the place of the old one so...
