As described above, attempting to turn down the brightness causes Win7 to immediately reboot, and it continues to reboot as soon as I get past the login screen. I plan to boot into Safe Mode and remove the Boot Camp drivers, but in the meantime, I wanted to ask:
- I have an ATI X1600 from the first intel iMac. Is there a non-Apple way to mess with the brightness? The Boot Camp slider caused hard lockups with the beta as well.
- Are there 32-bit Boot Camp drivers higher than version 2.0 (the version that came with my retail 10.5.0 disk)? The only 2.1 drivers I see on Apple's site are for 64-bit...
