Hi. I have a iPhone 3GS 32GB (black) that is whitescreening (the infamous Wsod- white screen of death). I have determined that the problem is the motherboard- the LCD connector (labeled with a sticker "1") appears to be broken- a few of the pins are slightly bent and one may be broken off. I would like to know what troubleshoots you would do BEFORE sending it to the repair service (just in case I don't need to). And please no "throw that piece of junk out" comments, I'm fixing it and reselling it without a doubt. Unless it's going to cost too much, which it probably won't.
