LCD screen is cracked and forming blue lines =[

I need serious help. My iMac (which was bought in september of 2006) fell around 2 months ago and cracked on the left side of the screen. It wasn't such a big problem until blue vertical lines began forming around the crack and now spreading. Now I don't know what to do, would it be cheaper to get it fixed at an Apple store or can I replace the screen, and if so where would I be able to buy an LCD 15" screen? i live in brooklyn, ny. Please helppp

Judging by your post, you don't have the expertise to replace it yourself. Just go to the Apple store and pay to have it fixed. I will likely cost somewhere in the range of $200-$600 for a new screen and outer case.
If you wait around too long, there will become a point in which the LCD liquids will start to leak out of your computer, doing more damage to the computer and to everything else around the computer.
