LCD TV advice needed

Not sure where to put this, but since a mac will very likely be connected at some point, here will do.


Right, done a bit of tidying in the front room today, can see half the floor now

and i don't really want to put the old 24in crt back in the corner, as it hasn't been used for a couple of months since i got a tv box for my computers.

Problem is the consoles wont of course work with that so i'm looking at some of the lcd tvs, i'm quite happy with my 17in iiyama screen, it has a 16ms response afik, games look just fine on it blur wise.

Speclist:
Scart - many as possable
S-video - as above
composite - as above
RGB - would be nice
VGA - DVI-i will do
DVI - as above
23+ inches
"HD ready"

Don't care about freeview etc, as the built in receiver will never be used.


Money wise, i have as little as possible to spend

i know the general picture quality of lcd tvs is relatively crap, especially viewing low-def stuff, but i really really realyyy dont want to keep my old *weighs a ton* set anymore

I'm going to john lewis tomorrow to have a look at some screens (not buy though, so expensive ) see whats what
