iOS Ldid error code

I built the app without codesigning. I SSHd in and set permissions to 755. I then used Terminal and ran ldid -S /Applications/AppName.app/AppName. Terminal then gave me this message:

codesign_allocate: for architecture armv6 object: /Applications/AppName.app/AppName malformed object (unknown load command 4)
util/ldid.cpp(582): _assert(0:WEXITSTATUS(status) == 0)

Did it fake sign correctly or not? When I resprung, the icon appeared and it ran just fine.
