I'm pretty certain this has to do with a permissions issue under Mojave. But the microphone doesn't work for in-game voice chat. I've checked the security settings and checked the boxes to allow League to control the system. However, the new Mic option doesn't have anything showing there, and I don't see any way to add it. It appears you can only grant access after an app has explicitly asked to use the mic.
