The above account has way too much detailed info for it to be fake, at least in my opinion.

Shipping with iOS 13.1, what most already knew cause of how the beta appeared when it did, maybe that will be enough to silence the naysayers finally.

I don't buy it. Here's a link to the full document:

https://www.docdroid.net/xkdPcw2/applesdr-september2019.pdf

There are just far too many oddities and inconsistencies in the document for me to take it at face value. For one, the naming conventions of unreleased products are internally inconsistent. The 2019 iPhone is referred to complete with their marketing names (iPhone "11 Pro"), the 2019 iPads and 2019 Apple Watch entries omit the marketing names.

For another, there are now years of examples of Apple referring to over the air updates as "OTA" updates. This document writes it "O-T-A." I suppose I could be misremembering, but I don't believe there's a single other instance of Apple using "O-T-A."

Finally, Apple's copyright spiel is usually pretty consistent, and universally includes the phrase "All rights reserved" on official Apple documentation, which isn't present in this document.

I'd wager 75-25 that this is fake.

If the new phones will ship with 13.1, how can 13.1 not be released until October? New phones are almost certainty going to ship 9/20/19. That alone makes it appear to be fake.

Not necessarily. The iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus launched in September, 1.5 weeks after the keynote. The iPhone X followed weeks later in October. That was more due to component production issues specifically related to the new iPhone X, so surely this isn't the "normal" timeline for iPhone launches, but it could still happen.

Assuming no abnormalities, I agree the new phones should go on sale on 9/20 and iOS 13.1 will follow in late October with the second Apple fall event.

Most of this stuff is either already known or easily guessed, not to mention the glaring logical inconsistencies (for example, shipping this specific build of iOS 13.1 beta next month to the public and iOS 13 beta 8 being GM) and typos littered throughout the document.

Sure, a lot of it could be accurate, but that doesn’t mean the document’s genuine. How “detailed” it is doesn’t matter.

A B for effort!

I think they should have just released the timeline and left it at that. I half believed the timeline graph. Once they released the PDF, it was obvious it was fake.
