'Leaked' iphones just red herrings, actually 1st gen prototypes?

Just a thought, but these leaked iphones with the front white panel just look like 1st gen prototypes, i mean they look like 1st gen, with the block style back and circle buttons, i think this is just one big red hearing, i mean didn't steve jobs say in a e-mail or something that your going to be supprised at WWDC? but this is just my thoughts :apple:

The 1st gen had rounded sides and the same volume rocker as the iPad and iPod touch.

Yes, they put a chip from 2010 in a prototype from 2007.

They did so by using the frozen donkey wheel, in case you're wondering.

The issue with that is, as stated before, the A4 chip found inside the phone. There were no A4 chips when the original iPhone came out. So no, this isn't a 1st gen prototype.

what i was trying to say was that they put the a4 chip inside so people thought it would be the 4th gen and also the other stuff
 
BTW I heard that Apple's going to put a tracking device in the next iPhone and start reading our brain waves. Really.

And after that, they are just one step away from controlling our brain waves, causing the entire world to purchase 3G iPads and bring about a technological utopia free from flash. Or World domination. One of those two.

And I am with you guys on Lost...there is absolutely nothing on TV this fall that will remotely come close, and A Game of Thrones doesn't come out till later. :(

So what you're saying is they took a 1st gen iPhone prototype and threw all the new gadgetry in it just throw us off the trail?

Interesting conspiracy theory.

Isn't it much more likely that they simply tried to make the new iPhone look similar to the original iPhone?

New iPhone

With all the hype from other phone manufacturers on their "new" models, it would not surprise me to find that Apple "leaked" the "new gen" phones out to throw everybody off track and into a rant.

My prediction is we will see an entirely new iPhone, not one of the "leaked" models...;)

If the OP actually wanted to pull this one off, he'd have said they've been using the same prototype casing with a few modifications for every iPhone, starting with the original.

Unless there were leaked 3G / 3GS prototypes.
