Leapfrog for kids

I have a nephew and was looking at getting one. He is 1 1/2 but sprints to my iPad, iPhone and iMac every time he comes over. Want him to have something digital as all his baby toys he doesn't even look at. He wants a touch screen.

Anyone have one or know someone that has one. Thoughts?

I would buy him a set of wood blocks to learn better hand-eye coordination, develop motor skills, and even encourage creativity and spatial thinking.

Leave the technology purchases and resulting supervision responsibility to his parents.
