Hi all. I am going to be doing short documentary videos. I recently purchased Final Cut Pro X 10.4. The last time I used Final Cut Pro was back when is was at version 6. Since I haven't used it since 2009, I need to have some training to kinda spark my brain cells, lol. Apple's Web site suggest Ripple Training. Anyone use Ripple Training? How are is the training? Recommenced? What other sites would be good for learning FCP?

Thanks all!

I think Ripple Training is excellent. You can certainly get an idea of what you're in for - they have freely available 5-minute snips that are more than just teasers. There's lots of good stuff available - Larry Jordan, for example - and it's all pretty good. I recommend thinking up a challenge or two (such as how do I color correct a clip?) and see how some of the free sessions answer your question.
Depending on the length of your documentary, you may want to pay special attention to media management and keywords. Getting a handle on the concepts upfront can save lots of time over the life of your project. Good luck!
