Rampaging Tokyo
Hi.

Maybe not the best forum for this question, but thought I would ask anyway.

I'm going on a mission trip in 4 months, and need to learn spanish. Just conversational, so I can talk with the people there.

Anyone have any tips? Can be audio for car/ipod, or interactive on the computer, or both, etc. Any help appreciated.

Pimsleur can be nice, if you have the concentrational skills. They're CD's that teach you important conversation. I used them when I went to Indonesia. It was pretty helpful. But each lesson is a good 30 minutes, and you really have to have your mind into it.

Also, if you want to study vocab on your mac, Genius isn't bad. I use it for Japanese, and it cuts the time out of paper flashcards like you wouldn't believe.

Have fun!
