Hi,

I'm toying with hiring/leasing a laptop - probably a MacBook Pro or MacBook Air of some description in the UK. I notice a few companies providing that service.

Does anyone have any experience of leasing a Mac laptop? Are there any UK companies you'd recommend/avoid?

Thanks in advance
Rob

To be honest its an incredibly expensive way of doing things unless you need to be able to swap out for new models whenever you want.

Especially when you take into account the brilliant resale value of macbooks you will usually pay what you would pay to lease it over three years to own it when you sell it on for a new one.

Agreed, you are much better off selling after a couple of years rather than leasing. In fact I made a profit on my last Macbook Air i7 - I bought it for £550, sold it for £600 a year later.
