Anyone have experience leasing Mac Pros for corporate or business use? I work for a small company and I am putting a proposal together for two new towers. Cash flow is not an issue, but we want to be able to stay on top of the tech and a lease would force us (hopefully) to keep our Macs upgraded.

So my question is: have you leased or have knowledge of leasing vs. outright purchasing Apple computers, and if so, what company did you use and would you recommend them?

This is my first post on here, so be gentle please. Thanks for the help,

A. Henson

Unless you have a serious tax advantage by leasing, I don't see any reason to do it. Just buy your Macs and then sell them when you upgrade every 2-3 years. They hold their value pretty well. I would estimate that you can get almost half your money back after 3 years. So a $3000 Mac Pro, would only cost you about $500 a year if you wanted to upgrade every three years. I can't see how leasing would be cheaper than that.

Good luck!
