Hi

I am really coming to like the leather link band. Can it be worn every day?

At the end of the day I exercise on the stationary bike for 30 minutes. Not much resistance. Little or no sweat. Can I still wear the band then? I have a sport loop that I can change to. Would I be better off changing?

How do I clean leather link?

Thanks

I would never make a leather band my daily use band. Especially if it’s a bright color. They tend to lose their color at pressure points.

I only use my leather bands on days when I’m working in the office and to go with certain outfits. I never use them outdoors on hot days or when exercising.

@perezr10 Thanks for your post. There are problems caused by my disabilities and the fact that the Milanese Loop scratches the watch.

ideally, I would like the link bracelet, but I can’t manage closing the band given my hand coordination.

any suggestions for a daily driver band? I also have two sport loops.

I am still struggling with a band to use as a daily driver.

I would recommend the braided loop. Easy to put on I guess and really comfortable on the wrist.

IMHO leather or fabric isn’t a good option for notable perspiration (or full on wet) activities. I’d go with something silicone or similar that’s fully waterproof. Over time I’d expect the perspiration and movement to mar the band.
The leather or the cloth varieties can look very good and probably treat the skin better.

I use my leather link as an everyday band, I only change it if I intend to go swimming or doing something that I am certain I will get wet.

I have accidentally showered with it several times, splashed on it while washing hands many times. It is holding up great after a year or so? (don't remember when it came out exactly). It does not seem to smell bad at all.

Thanks. I really like it too. The only thing I don’t like is by the end of the day, the “pills” leave marks on the underside of my wrist.

The biggest issue I have with my leather link is that my wrist sweats like a pig when I'm wearing it. I'm fine as long as I stay indoors with the A/C running and but as soon as I leave the house it gets unbearable very quickly. Granted, Texas summers are brutal and it is 102 outside as we speak, but I still find it incredibly uncomfortable and unpleasant.

Will try again when it cools down, maybe it'll be more usable in the wintertime. As it is the only bands I found to be compatible with Southern US summers are the braided solo and the Milanese loop.
