Leather loop doesn’t work with series 7?

I have a leather loop that has worked perfect since I got it. I received my series 7 yesterday and the bottom of the band doesn’t lock in to the bottom on the watch. It’s an official Apple Watch band and I thought Apple said their bands should work with series 7? Anyone having issues?

Apple has not changed the design of the band slot, so it’s the same band slot for Series 0 thru 7. Are you saying the short piece of the leather loop doesn’t slide into band slot? doesn’t click into place?

I have 3x leather loops and they all attach perfectly with my S7 graphite SS. A little tight, but they slide in and lock perfectly.

I put my brown leather loop on the graphite 7 I had for a week - it worked fine

Could be the fastener on the watch is defective. try another band if you have one.

I have two leather loops that work perfectly with my S7.

You probably inserted the bottom piece upside-down. ? My leather loops work fine with my S7.
