Hey! I am looking to get a Mag Safe Leather wallet as i like the look and the reviews seem like they favor it. I am a minimalist type that will only have 2 cards and a little cash to put into it. The thing is I do not have a magsafe phone... I’d only be buying the wallet because I like it and think it would be of good use to me. Is that dumb? Should i just skip it? Anyone like me?

I don't think it is dumb at all. If you want a minimalist wallet, get one. Doesn't matter if anyone else agrees.
Thank you! I honestly don’t really care much if others agree... just maybe insight on if they may not be the perfect fit for someone that is just wanting to use it as a wallet with out the phone use.

Seems like a good choice for your use case, and would be comparable in price to any other quality leather wallet of its size. You could also stick it on the fridge or metal door (to grab on your way out) when at home.

All I would add is maybe do a little more research on “minimalistic wallets”. There are some really good ones out there that may suit your needs better at a lesser cost.

If you like it get it. But I will tell you sliding cash out of the wallet isn't nearly as easy as sliding a credit card, especially if the bill slips below the edge of the wallet opening. There just seems to be too much friction with the paper vs plastic. For this reason I stopped carrying cash in the MagSafe wallet. If you're not going to be using the MagSafe capability, you may want to keep looking for a different minimalist wallet with easy access to both cards and cash.

For me, I like small wallet too because I carry it in my front pants pockets…more secure!!

Given that Apple leather is not made for contant in and out, I would get something more robust.

This is what my wife gave my two years ago. It was on sale I think. Tough and small…no sign of wear despite being daily driver. Just a little bigger than credit card. Able to hold all that I need (Driver license, conceal carry license, two credit cards, bank card, insurance cards, AAA card, and cash).

I agree with @Aceroller. I suggest looking around before commiting to the Apple leather wallet, because there are a lot of minimalist card cases available, especially since you're not using MagSafe. I thought about going down the same route as you. I only use two cards the majority of the time (driver's license and debit card but with no cash ever) and four cards that aren't as important (Shell Fuel Rewards, Barnes & Noble, library card, and an emergency credit card) that I leave in the center console of my car. I used to use a similar card case from Coach that @Madtiger27 shared (which I highly recommend in your situation, by the way) for several years, but I started to want something that could hold all six cards (the Coach one I had only held four). I thought about getting the Liam Leather Folding Card Case from Nordstrom but wound up getting the Ezra Arthur No. 2 Leather Card Case instead.

One option you might want to look into is the Wally Junior from Distil Union.
