Leather pad for MBP

Unfortunately Twelve South stopped making these for the reason your link mentions.

Do you really think it is that big of a deal?

I know that having my hands on aluminum all day makes me very uncomfortable. In fact, there is no way I could use a MacBook without some sort of a cover.

Assuming I could get one like I have now, and I was careful not to crame the display down, do you think it would be that big of a deal?

No one else responded - apparently nobody else uses these leather pads?! :confused:

When I bought one for my current MBP, I thought it was the best thing I ever spent money on.

Since I am boycotting Amazon, any ideas what else I could do?
