can anyone recommend a leather pouch/sleeve that is big enough to take the new ipad with a smartcover and backcase attached, all the ones i see seem to be only big enough to fit naked ipads

thanks guys, at that combined price i think i'll just buy both of them:D

Best buy has the black oiled leather Targus Hughes portfolio available online for $19.99 with free shipping.

I've seen the oiled brown leather version (ie., baseball glove) available at my local TJ Maxx for the same price.

Nice, well made, stylish (wish it had handles) and well heeled for the money. Works for the ipad2 and 3 with smart cover (or, for that matter, the logitech ultrathin keyboard cover) quite well.

I am using the targus hughes leather portfolio and the targus z-case. Both are working fine with the new ipad 3. gen with smartcover on and are made of genuine leather. The targus hughes works with ipad with smartcover and backcover like belkin snapshield aswell.

Just my few thoughts
