Leather scratches

Hello,

So I have a Nomad which I really like and I notice that it can easily accumulate scratches. Is there anything that we can use to disguise scratches a little?

I’m not expecting to eliminate the scratches but I got a scratch that isn’t spoiling the case but can definitely feel it, I’m guessing shoe polish won’t cut the mustard?

Yes, the nomad scratches very easily with your finger nails.

You can use your fingers to rub on the scratch to make it less noticeable.

apply some leather conditioner from time to time, or/and brush it often with a shoe brush.

It’s less aggressive today, still there even after a small amount of shoe polish residue on a shoe brush.

Was hoping to see it’s true 100 day patina at the weekend.

This weekend will put you at 100 days? Hopefully the shoe polish didn’t make a hug difference. I’d love to see a natural 100 day usage pic. I’ll post some of mine when I get around or past 100 days. Think I’m somewhere around 60-70 days in.

In fact it would be at around the 100 day mark now..

The case is my midweek business case lol

Looking at it though, I don’t see any difference compared to the new photos you see on the site... maybe I’m a little too careful with it bar the odd few scratches. You can see the scratch on the pics above but it seems to have settled down now.

Looks good! I am having a hard time making it out, but is that the black case? I must be colorblind. I have seen some brown Nomad cases that were brown and turned a dark almost black color.

Edit: I gave my black Nomad to a co-worker and he absolutely loves it. He bought the mini about a month ago and was using a tech 21 clear case. I gave him the Nomad last week and has been showing me all the details it has from day to day usage.

No worries, it’s the black leather. The brown does look nice too.

I’ve a tech 21 case too which I like a lot. Think I like the Nomad better though

I was concerned about scratches but now I’m realising it’s giving it character. Just if the scratch is too deep I’d be worried it would ruin it! Thankfully this has turned out ok.
