Leave a video message

When do you think Apple will get around to the ability to leave a Facetime message?

I'm not sure if other similar services already do this but integration into Facetime would be cool.

I kind of do that now. I record myself with the front facing camera, and send it as a message

You can already do this. Take a video of yourself and send it as a message.

While it would work, it wouldn't be done through Facetime. As in, Facetime someone and if they don't answer, you can leave them a video message.

Just like when you call someone, you don't record an audio recording and message it to them, you get their voicemail.
