The configuration of my desk is such that I don't have room to lay my MBP flat but I do have room to leave it upright. Will this be harmful or cause issues if it is left upright?

Thanks

Since you are in clamshell mode... you are running with the hinge pointed up... since the airflow is out the back where the hinge is, and air rises...

That is a nice looking stand!

Mine is slightly elevated. I have a notebook stand that keeps it up off the desk at about 30 degrees or so. Works great!

wow $50 just for that stand? I would rather spend the $50 on the rain mstand which you can use open OR closed.

Talk about being ripped off. WOW!!! 300 bucks is outrages just to hold my macbook. for that kinda money you would expect it be made by someone
like ..........Apple!!!

Hehe, Apple isnt even that bad. For that product they are probably profiting $200.00 per sale. There is nothing super special about it.

I couldn't find the button for the built-in teleportation device, or the 256 GB SSD it must come with. Do you mind posting the pictures?

But seriously, for $300, I'll build you 5 aluminum stands that look fine!

no kidding, i was gonna say it better have cloning technology to reproduce a macbook on command.

"make a macbook now!!" boom macbook..
