Is there any way to leave the first page after unlocking phone blank? Other then a few things on the dock. But I mean nothing on top?
I had it that way after updating. But then somehow just now it deleted that page and then 2nd page became first. And so forth. I think it was when I went to the search page left of home one.
But anyone know?

because i didn't want to create a new thread, i tried moving all my apps to the second page and later that day, all my apps were on the first page again.

is there any way to permanently keep the first page blank?

Look for "blank" icons for the iPhone; you basically bookmark a page that has a clear icon, so it looks like nothings there. This may be necessary for a "placeholder" app on the first page so it holds it as an empty page.

Just move all the apps to page 2. If you restart phone tho it will revert back and you'll have to do it again. I have no problem with doing it again because I only have 2 pages of apps. It would be a pain if you have lots of pages of apps tho.

In the previous ios, you could have the first page blank all the time, but with the latest ios, it appears that you can do it but when you reboot your device, the blank page will disappear. I hope apple fixes this issue.
