Whenever I leave a WiFi connection, like my home or office, my iPhone does not automatically pickup the cellular connection. I typically have to restart. Is this normal? I don't remember this issue with any other iPhone.

For example, when I get in my car in the morning, I plug my phone into my car. It shows that I'm still connected to my home wifi. But as I drive down the street and lose the wifi signal, the signal indicator changes to LTE. But if I try to launch Maps, Waze, or any other app, it will tell me "network unavailable." I have to power toggle the phone in order for it to recognize and use the cell network. It seems like it still wants to hang on to the WiFi..
