LED cinema display + mac mini + bootcamp issues

i have a macmini 4,1 2.4ghz with the NVIDIA geforce320M.

when running in mac OS, the 27" apple led cinema display works fine using the mini displayport and i can extend with the HDMI port to a TV.

when in windows 7 (bootcamp) the ACD has a max resolution of 1600x1200 and the HDMI output is not recognized by the TV.

i've updated bootcamp to 3.3.

any help is appreciated.
