Hi,

I am wondering how better is really this display? Are they much better then the 23" HD Cinema Dislpay? I am somewhat skeptical about the glossy screen! I work with graphics and I don't like glossy screens, they may look good but kind of the reflections get in the way when I am working.

I have bought a couple months ago the NOW old macbook pro! Yeah I know I am kind of unlucky (or not, there is people saying they didn't like the new one, preferring the old one).

So which one should I buy: 24" LED Cinema Display or if I still get the chance, the Old 23" HD Cinema Display??

Thanks,

Ralph

No doubt Apple will launch a new LED 24" and 30" ACD to suit normal DVI some time soon.

And won't be a conversor of this Mini DisplayPort to any port on the old Macbook?!

I can't really understand what you're saying. Are you asking if the older Macbooks and Macbook Pros will be able to connect to the new 24" displays? If so, the technical specifications for the 24" display on Apple's website says:

Compatibility

Compatible with MacBook, MacBook Air, and MacBook Pro systems with Mini DisplayPort

So as of now, it doesn't look like you can connect an older Macbook or Macbook Pro with the 24" display.

You don't have much choice. New LEDs work only with mini-DisplayPort-equipped computers. No adapter is available yet.

You don't like glossy anyway, so why not get the older ACD? They are the best displays I've ever seen (And I've seen a LOT)

There will be an adapter soon I am sure, you can already get Mini-Display to DVI so why not the other way around? Surely just a matter of time.
