LED cinema on macpro 08 ???

today new macpros support the new LED display, but what happend with the macpro 08?? need a converter or something? I want a LED for my macpro 08

You'll probably need to buy the unreleased GT 130 or 4870.

Yes if you buy the 4870 you can connect the 24" display to your mac. You will have to buy from Apple though as it has the mini display port

What about us older 1st Gen Mac Pro buyers?

I see the new 4870 graphics cards with mini display ports are out, but only work with the 2008 or 2009 Mac Pro's.

The 4870 does not work with the 2006 Mac Pro. Neither does the GT 120.
