I have tried the LED Flash for Alerts today by turning it on. First, please forgive me if I'm in the wrong section for posting. I thought maybe it belongs in iPhone.

This is what I tried.

First, I tried using BiteSMS on a JB and I don't get any sorts of flashing lights. I tried send myself test texting messaging on only my one phone.

I then tried sending myself text messaging using the stock message app, and still no flashing LED.

Finally, I tried to power off the phone and power back on, and still no LED is flashing.

May I ask do I need to try turning something else on, or make some changes? Or what could I do to get the flashing LED? I was only aware to turn on the LED Flash for Alerts. I didn't know I would run into trouble. Could someone please provide me with support?

I forgot to mention I'm using and still have the iPhone 4, and it has iOS 6.1 on it. When I first got it, it came with iOS 4.2.10. If that helps.

Thank you,
