I'd post a picture to show what I mean but I don't want to post my friends on the internet.

Basically when I take a photo of someone in the dark their eyes turn yellow and they looks possessed. Is there a way to lessen this effect the flash seems to have on the human eye in dark shots?

The flash seems to work good on other things, but a straight on shot of a persons face and their eyes look like zombies.

Otherwise the cameras are pretty awesome on this thing

Use software the same way you would for red eye reduction. Not sure why it's so yellow, other than it must be due to the spectrum the LED puts out, but you can't help it when the flash is so close to the lens.
