LED Lightbulbs

I saw this on the news several years ago, but I didn't pay much attention to it. I remember seeing these energy-efficient LED lightbulbs that lasted several years, and they were showing ones that went through a rainbow cycle.

Does anybody know where I could find these? Does anybody have these? I think they'd look cool in my room.

I got one at Target in clearance, for 5buckaroos lasted me 6 years till it crooked when someone dropped it. Best lamps, the replaced Target one sucks balls now. Anyway yeah they are great especially if your in design or just need bright enough life for your desk area.

Okay....so it's not LEDs....but it does change colour!

A search engine rarely yields results the same way humans do, and perhaps he was looking for some discussion of LED lightbulb technology.

LEDs are good for certain applications. But as a general lighting source they are Not Quite Ready For Prime Time.
