LEDs visible on top of the screen.

Hello guys, is it normal if I can see those LEDs on top of the screen?
I am using iPhone 4S. It has been really bugging me for a long time..

The proximity sensor uses a photocell and an infrared LED, which can be visible in the dark. Maybe that is what you're seeing. I don't think it should be on all the time though.
