Hello, Longtime lurker, first time poster

I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to connect to the interent using the iPod Touch through the USB cable (using your PC to bridge the gap to the internet)

My old Sony Ericsson P800 used to be able to do this. It would prove useful for checking stuff while at work such as the sources on installer, without needing a wifi connection.

Any help would be appreciated!

it would be nice to know to, becoush the WIFI at school is cut off and it would be nice to check personal stuff on my pod, and not on the computer

It could conceivably be done (has been done for Palm PDA's for example), but there's no current method to do this on a Touch/iPhone (it would require some development, not just changing a setting or something like that.)

glad to know i'm not the only one who would find this of use!

granted, it is somewhat of an antiquated means of accessing web based content but none the less, very useful.
