The left click on my 2010 MacBook Pro is not working it does not close tabs and windows. Could it be a Hardware problem or could it be software ? What will fix it ? Any trick that I can perform to fix it !

There's a trick that you can try. Take out the battery pack and you will see the trackpad.

I couldn't find any other picture, so forget about all those red circles. If you look at the trackpad, at the lower part of the trackpad, where it's close to the edge of the laptop, there's a screw in the middle with two notches at it's sides. That screw tightens the click, the more it's in, the sooner the click is registered. I suggest you rotate it 2-4 degrees, meaning really small movement so when you press on the trackpad it pushes the button more and might fix this issue.
