My macbook has a problem with the left command key. I checked the "keyboard viewer" and find that none of the combinations of left command + z/x/c/v/b/n/m works. It shows that left command key is pressed, but the z/x/c/v/b/n/m key gives no response. So that I can't use the copy/paste from the left command key shortcuts. For all other left command shortcuts, the left command key works( e.g. Left command + a/s/d/f/g/h/j/k/l/q/w/e/r/t/y/u/i/o/p works).
Indeed, the right command key is working normally so that i can use the right command key with all shortcuts( including the copy/paste).
Any help is appreciated.
Notes:
(i) i have checked the universal access/speech from the system preferences, all of the functions are turned off
(ii) the keyboard shortcuts have been restored several times but still left command doesn't work.
(iii)the softwares recently used are photoshop/adobe acrobat pro/word,excel/pages,notes/preview
(iv) the disk utility permission repair doesn't help
(v) after switching to a guest account, the first few second copy/paste worked, but after a window "Trusteer Rapport update" poped out, then the left command shortcuts copy/paster no longer worked. Even I deleted the Rapport files in safe mode after restart, still the left command shortcuts copy/paste doesn't work. (Double checked by another restart)
