Isn't it about time that Apple recognised the silent minority that no one ever talks about. Left Handed People!
I am fed up of always taking a screenshot every time I want to switch off because the base of my thumb wraps round the volume button as I press the off button with my index finger. Come on apple - so very with it with politically correctness what about left handed people.

The iPhone is left-handed......

I use mine left-handed 95% of the time, and I'm right-handed by nature.

Ditto. I too am a righty that uses the phone left handed. And no matter the hand, pretty easy to not grab/hold the phone by the "head".

Huh? I use both my right and left hand and never had a problem turning it off. Maybe shift the phone in your hand a bit?

I'm right handed, but strangely enough, I tend to use my phone in my left hand as much as my right. I've never had this problem either way though.

Huh? You take a screenshot with the sleep button and the home button.

"You're holding it wrong."

I use mine lefty and righty. No issues.

I use my left handed iPhone about as often as I use my left handed screwdriver and I am left-handed.

After using Apple products for so many years I still get confused which side the power button and volume conttols is on for each device. Not to mention my phone used to have it on top now it's on the side. The iPad i have still has the power button on the top. Gets very confusing.

Are people forgetting that when the power button was on the top iPhones were also notably smaller? Unless you have fairly large hands, touching the top of any current iPhone except the SE is not comfortable while gripping the phone normally.

I’m not forgetting, I just would use my other hand to press it. I have to use both hands now anyways with them being across from each other or I end up screenshoting or turning the phone off when I want to change the volume....

Well, this is how it works for me:

Left handed, press power with my index finger, opposing force comes from thumb resting above the volume buttons.

Right handed, press power with my thumb, index finger rests on the back of the phone, opposing force comes from other fingers resting below the volume buttons.
