Hi All,
Long time reader, first time poster
I have compared signal dbm readings on the new XS Max alongside a Huawei P10 and Galaxy s8+ and have noticed when holding the XS Max in my left hand, the signal dbm drops at least 10dbm whereas the others drop around 2dbm.
Before the test the phones were all around the 99dbm mark.
I can only imagine that in an area of low reception, using your left hand to hold the device would probably result in poor signal.
I am aware that the antenna is located on the left in most (all?) iPhones, but did not expect such a dramatic drop.
I can't help but wonder if most of the complaints of cellular reception are from fellow lefties?
Cheers
