Being the idiot that I am and fully knowing that it is my fault, I left my iPod in a HOT black interior car for about 24 hours. It didn't turn on when I tried, so i thought it may need a bit of a charge. I let it cool for a couple hours, and then plugged it in, but my iTouch won't charge and my computer won't recognize it. I've tried restoring it and getting it in DFU mode, but the iTouch won't turn on no matter what. It's basically a dead iTouch.
I'm assuming that since my iTouch is a 4th Gen, it should be covered by a free 1 year warranty, can I take it to the Genius Bar for them to replace/repair it? My iTouch is jailbroken, but if they (hopefully?) can't turn it on, they can't really find that out right away.
