On a mbp 17".

Plugged a nokia charger into the left side usb and i think i must of put it in the wrong way round because straight away it said there was too much power on that usb slot so it said its going to shut the usb port down. but now both of the usb's have gone and wondered if it was a hardware thing or something in osx i can just simply enable again? Any one got any ideas?

I hope its the second option!!

Have you tried rebooting? If yes, then try a PRAM reset.

Done the pram reset but no joy and also did a smc reset for the power but still nothing. Getting this message in the pic below now..

I have got apple care until 30th august and going to singapore in a few days (living in thailand so no care here!) so i will hand it in there.

But i was wondering if anyone knew if they would send it back to thailand or not? Any1 got the singapore apple stores email?

Thanks
