Hey,
I bought one of the new MBP's a few weeks ago now and am loving it (my first Mac).
However, when the sound is muted, sometimes the left-speaker will click (I have only noticed it in Entourage 2008 when I click "Send/Receive" and there is no mail). It is like it is trying to put some sound to that speaker (if the sound it turned on, it does play a sound at that point in the send/receive process).
It doesn't happen all the time. If I turn on the sound for a while, and then mute it, it won't happen for a bit, but then it will happen every time.
Does anyone have any idea why this is happening? I don't want to take it to Apple for them to look at it as they will take the laptop away and I will be without my laptop for a while.
Cheers,
Chris
