Left Speaker On Iphone 4s

When a song is playing and the right speaker which is located at the bottom is covered no music can be heard in the left speaker, is this normal. Do you get sound from your left speaker or is this a fault? Thanks

No that's the microphone. The iPhone only has 1 speaker.

No drama, but they were the same single speaker, except I think the speaker and microphone were on opposite sides.
