I'm new to mac, and really feel a bit out of my league. My question involves installing third-party software.
For example, I installed Audacity, opened it in its mounter, put the application itself into my Applications list.
But with that done, still on my Mounter are files such as:
a folder marked 'Languages,'
and another marked 'plug-ins,'
a third named 'nyquist,'
and then some txt files, like readme and license.
Don't these items (especially the folders) need to be kept somewhere for the program to reference them? And, how do I find out where they should be kept? The 'leftovers' after an install are making me think I've done something wrong.. sort of like when putting something together and having leftover parts.
