It's a sad day today. Legendary blues guitar player Johnny Winter dies at the age of 70 I've been a huge fan of his since 1969.

Yes he did, and I'm happy for that. But I'm sad we're losing the greats of my generation. I'm feeling more mortal these days even though I'm only 62. Life goes fast, doesn't it?

I still have the 3 sided vinyl "Johnny Winters Second" album I bought in 1969 when I was a senior in highschool with this song on it. I'm going to play it tonight in tribute to this legendary guitar hero of mine....
