Legitimate question/complaint about the new iPad weight..

I am trying to use my new iPad with the polyurethane smart cover, and every time I set it so that the iPad is standing up, it smashes the smart cover flat like a pancake.

I know I didn't have this problem with my iPad2, but I had the leather smart cover for it.

Is the new iPad too heavy for the magnetic catches, or is this just an issue with polyurethane covers?

If not trolling, I am folding it into the correct triangle formation. Like I said, I used another smart cover on my iPad 2 with no problems.
