OS X Lego Marvel Super Heroes Problems - Help

Hi,

Is there anyone out there playing this game successfully on their mac? I am able to play it but I have a couple of problems that are stopping me from being able to get into it.

1. My game doesn't seem to autosave. At the pre-game menu, I select a slot to save a game and it notifies me that autosave will save to that slot. If I then play for a bit and then quit the game, when I attempt to reload from that slot later on it tells me progress is at 0.0% and goes through the whole animated introduction (silver surfer being shot out of the sky etc). Every time I load a game the intro plays and I can't seem to skip through it.

I have made it to the second stage (inside sand central) having beaten Abomination so I would have assumed a checkpoint would have occurred by now, to trigger an autosave.

2. The other major thing is that I can't seem to be able to swap characters. I'm stuck with Hulk and Iron Man. In the second stage it prompts me to use a character that has a special sense (Spiderman?) to find a way to use the water flow in a transparent pipe to dissolve a sand wall, but I can't change (using the default space or L control). Maybe I'm missing something here.

I have e-mailed feral interactive but have not heard back and online information seems to be pretty sparse.

I'd appreciate any feedback from people who've bought this.

I don't own the gam personally so can't help, but if you emailed Friday or over the weekend please wait them to get back to work today. I'm sure they'll try and help as best they can.

We haven't had any major issues with the thousands of Mac players but there are always the odd issues with a few peoples machines due to the infinite variety of setups you can have. If you wait for our support team to get back to you we can investigate.

1. You can either "Save and Exit" when you quit the game from the menu or you need to wait until after the spinning save logo has disappeared at certain stages when playing. If "Save and Exit" doesn't work you should update Support and we can have another look.

2. You can't access (or need) Spiderman at this stage. The bit you are talking about I think you have to destroy the silver cap using Ironman then use Bruce Banner (not Hulk) to climb up to the top of the section and build a water cannon. YouTube has a few play-through videos if you get stuck.

I'd recommend you email support as we can help easier via support emails than via a forum. However in your case based on your screenshots you haven't progressed enough through the game to be able to save your progress. You need to have completed the entire tutorial / opening level before you can save.

This is the same as the PC and Console versions, it is a little strange but that's how it works in this title. If you still cannot save after completing the Ironman / Hulk sections then let us know via support.
